Full Clutch Mechanism Kit
For all years & models of TY80
Consists of-
Complete worm mechanism with adjuster that goes in the flywheel cover including oil seal & spring
Pushrod Oil Seal (OEM)
Ball Bearing
Push rod is NOT included as we have run out but we are getting some made. We have reduced the price accordingly
There is someone on Ebay selling the pushrod for £15.00😲 The same one we sold for £3.00, prices on the new one may increase slightly, but not by that much, don't be ripped off

Quick and easy to fit
Fitting instructions.
This can all be done by just removing the flywheel cover
1. Remove flywheel cover
2. Remove old mechanism from from flywheel cover, undo screw & twist.
3. Pull pushrod out of crankcase
4. Prise oil seal from crankcase(Just needs a little 'persuading')
5. Tilt bike/engine by 45 degrees to the left and the ball bearing should fall out, you might need to jiggle it a bit.
That is all the old kit out.
Refitting
1. Clean EVERYTHING!!!
2. Drop ball bearing into pushrod hole
3. Fit new oil seal, use grease on the inside and outside surfaces
4. Slide new pushrod in
5. Screw worm guide into flywheel cover
6. Insert worm in worm guide and line up lever
7.Remove worm and lever as one unit and peen the ends of the worm just enough to keep the lever on.
8.Reinsert worm and lever, insert adjustment bolt, attach return spring and refit case.
9. Adjust bolt so it is just clear of the pushrod
et voila! you are done
If you are still suffering a stiff clutch first check the cable action, if it is stiff replace, you will find them listed below. The only other area that may cause problems is the clutch basket itself, grooves tend to form in the webs where the plate tabs have been rubbing against them. If this is the case then simply take a small file and level out the grooves. By doing all of this you should end up with a perfect light clutch, no need to invest in an expensive hydraulic kit!
