 'Made by Tony Ducas of DC Engineering in the United States, the Hy-tech racing reeds are a well established favourite in the two stroke engine market.

The purpose of a fibre reed valve as compared to the original equipment steel reed valve is principally to avoid engine destruction on a reed failure but the new Hy-tech racing reeds actually improve horse power and throttle response on most engines throughout their lifetime. Upon eventual failure, Hy-tech racing reeds cause zero engine damage due to the low mechanical strength of the reed fibre.'

I was always a fan of the original reeds until I tried these fibre reeds back to back with the OEM ones on the same bike. Astonishing improvement in the throttle response throughout the rev range and running much cleaner at the top. All with no change to the jetting, I am a convert!


Supplied as a pair - Just screw on and ride, although you might need one of THESE aswell.
