These are the latest version of the Classic Betor Trial Shocks.

The latest models feature:-

• Lighter body

• Stronger oil seal & plate

• 12 month warranty against failure

The spring preload is adjustable by means of a circlip and 5 grooves on the shock body. To adjust you need to remove the shock from the bike, remove the spring then adjust the circlip.

How to choose your spring weight

• 4.1" (105mm) Travel

• 11mm Damper Rod

• 12mm eyes either end, although we can supply 10mm & 8mm bushes on request

• Rubber & collar at both ends

• Damped using a combination of Oil & Nitrogen

• 2.325 kgs

• Fully rebuildable

• Can be used either way round but we recommend having the valve at the top as this protects it from damage and reduces the unsprung weight of the bike so the suspension works even better. Stickers supplied loose so you can fit them the correct way

• Ready to fit and use

• 12 Month Warranty against failure (not including accidental damage)

We fit these to all our TY125 & TY175 bike as the extra length not only increases ground clearance but improves the steering quite dramatically. The only modifications needing done is to drop the forks in the yokes so the chrome slider is level with the top of the yoke and extend the sidestand by 20mm.

I have also got this length fitted on my 1967 Bultaco Sherpa T Model 27 following some advice given to me personally by the certain Irish chap who developed the bike in the first place!

Lovely smooth action with superb damping characteristics 

Ideal for the novice, clubman and expert although we find experts can ride with 2 rods welded on the back and still win but us with lesser abilities need all the help we can get

Please note:- NEVER touch the valve unless you are re-gassing the shock, they are not adjustable that way!
