Pair of Betor Aluminium Trials Rear Shocks

These are the new lightweight version of the trusted Betor Trial Shocks. The spring holder is aluminium rather than steel. The spring adjuster and upper mount for the shock are also aluminium saving about 10% of the weight. Spherical bearing fitted in one end with rubber & collar in the other.

The spring is infinitely adjustable by means of a screw thread rather than a circlip & grooves. We set the springs length at 250mm before shipping, this is a good place to start.

• Damper bodies are steel with a chrome finish

• Choice of 40lb or 50lb spring although we recommend 50lb for the TLR

How to choose your spring weight

• 12mm eyes either end, although we can supply 10mm & 8mm bushes on request

• Can be used either way round but we recommend having the valve at the top as this protects it from damage and reduces the unsprung weight of the bike so the suspension works even better. Stickers supplied loose so you can fit them the correct way

The Betor Aluminium shock has the spring preload infinitely adjustable by means of a screw thread which can be adjusted whilst the shock is still on the bike without the need for tools.

For all models of TLR125 TLR200 & TLR250 Twinshock including Reflex

We fit these slightly longer shocks to the TLR125 & TLR200 as they raise the rear end slightly and improve the steering

With this length of shock the springs also clear the silencer. Shorter shocks means the spring rubs against the silencer, particularly noticeable on some aftermarket systems

Lovely smooth action with superb damping characteristics 

Ideal for the novice, clubman and expert although we find experts can ride with 2 rods welded on the back and still win but us with lesser abilities need all the help we can get

With valve for re-gassing

Please note:- NEVER touch the valve unless you are re-gassing the shock, they are not adjustable that way!
