Clutch Pushrod and Ball

For all years & models of TY125 & TY175

On the 1st of November 1977 Yamaha started fitting this modified pushrod and ball bearing to the TY125 & TY175. Prior to the they used a longer pushrod without a ball bearing, this caused excessive wear to the rod, causing a rough action or occasional seizure.

Manufactured from Silver Steel and hardened at both ends , as per the original

The rod has a flat end and a curved end.

The curved end fits up to the clutch arm so is fitted curved end in first followed by the ball and then the mushroom

All in all it will take about 20 minutes to fit.

Please remember NOT to overtighten the clutch spring screws, they just need nipped up!
